For members' clubs across Scotland

Everything your club needs, from one supplier

Members' clubs get a better deal than pubs on gaming machines, and a lot of committees do not realise by how much.

A pub is capped at a £100 jackpot.Your club can run £500, and pay no Machine Games Duty on it.

The rules

What your club is entitled to

With a club gaming permit or a club machine permit, a members’ club can site up to three gaming machines from categories B3A, B4, C or D. Of those three, only one may be a B3A, and the B3A is the £500 machine.

B3A - £2 Max Stake - £500 Max Prize

Members' clubs and miners' welfare institutes only

B4 - £2 Max Stake - £400 Max Prize

Clubs, including commercial clubs

C - £1 Max Stake - £100 Max Prize

Pubs and clubs

B3A is restricted to members’ clubs and miners’ welfare institutes. A commercial club can site B4, C or D but not B3A. A pub cannot have one at all.

A pull tab machine sits outside the three, because it dispenses lottery tickets rather than operating as a gaming machine.
