It catches a group, not an individual
A group stays longer and spends more at the bar than one person feeding a reel machine. It also reaches customers who will not touch a fruit machine at all. A skill with prizes machine does not count towards the two gaming machines a pub is automatically entitled to, and it does not need a permit.
