For pubs, bars and breweries

Everything your pub needs, from one supplier

Machines, music, pool and bar equipment for licensed premises across Scotland. Rented weekly, installed and serviced by us.

You are entitled to two gaming machines the moment you have your premises licence. Most pubs use both. What you put in them is where the difference is.

£100 Jackpot

What your pub is entitled to

Category C is the pub ceiling: £1 maximum stake, £100 maximum prize.

Under the Gambling Act 2005, premises with an on sales alcohol licence in Scotland have an automatic entitlement to two gaming machines of category C or D. You notify your licensing authority and pay the fee. No separate permit is needed for those first two.

Want more than two? That is a Licensed Premises Gaming Machine Permit from your local licensing board.

Category C is the pub ceiling: £1 maximum stake, £100 maximum prize.

A pull tab machine sits outside that entitlement, because it dispenses lottery tickets rather than operating as a gaming machine. So it does not use up one of your two.
